Merriton Constructions
The CFMEU and the BLF have today signed the very FIRST enterprise agreement with construction company Merriton. Merriton Constructions have been a major building company in Victoria for the last 30 years and have never entertained an agreement with the union.
This agreement will cover 56 employees of Merriton in Queensland and will mean these workers are better off under a union agreement.

Delegates Convention - July 2012
Every two years the Queensland Branch of the CFMEU has a State Delegates Convention. The convention is set for Thursday 12th and Friday 13th July, 2012. We will be counting on over 150 delegates from throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory to attend this year's convention.
The union is committed to rank and file representation to ensure that discussion and decision making truly reflect the ideas and aspirations of the membership. The last convention was very successful and we are looking forward to another great two days of debates and discussion.
